Description:

Purpose:
To enable a people ecosystem around moments that matter – delivering value at every touchpoint and providing HR service and support to defined support areas. Manages and acts as a key contributor to local or global HR projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key contact for managers and employees including retail staff and providing consultation on policies and procedures
  • Trusted advisor to people on all people-related matters. Coach and mentor Line Managers to be empowered around people, engagement, career progression, and performance topics/decisions
  • Support and execute the People Strategy in a defined area
  • Drive change management plans and execution of new organization design setup
  • Source solutions to build skills and capabilities in partnership with expert communities, operationalize the workforce planning process
  • Monitor/create dashboards and analytic trends
  • Build a Talent pipeline with robust succession plans for management positions within the area of responsibility
  • Ensure our people products and processes are executed and adapt communication for the employee base
  • Quickly respond to complaints, questions, and needs from line managers, employees
  • Educate and support leaders, and managers in their people roles and responsibilities: appraisals, discipline and grievances, absence, talent acquisition, leadership and talent development, career progression
  • Implement and update guidelines and policies according to local laws and regulations, to ensure compliance in HR practices and internal/external audits. This is in collaboration with HR GBS (Shared Services) and SEA HRBPs
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle alongside HR GBS
  • Drive annual people processes such as compensation review and performance evaluation
  • Support Employee Listening Survey results analysis and action planning alongside the country leadership team
  • Manage annual and monthly budgeting and tracking of personnel expenses
  • Drive employee engagement through country-initiated or global activations

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • HR Capabilities: Individual and collective labor law. HR Subject Matter Expert, use of HR metrics, change delivery support, organizational design, maintains external perspective, anticipating people trends, employee relations. Basic knowledge of workforce planning
  • Business Capabilities: Commercial awareness, customer focus, understanding HR strategy, understanding business, its value chain, and key processes
  • Consulting Capabilities: Brokering solutions to meet business needs, ability to sell HR solutions to the business, trusted advisor, team facilitation, coaching skills, project input and delivery

Requisite Education and Experience:

  • University degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 6-7 years of progressive work experience in the field of HR Business Partnering and/or other relevant functions (preferably in an international organization)
