We are seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees. This position requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for enhancing the customer experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (oral & written)
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills (both customer and technical)
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to multi-task; manage and prioritize tasks and activities effectively and efficiently
· Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a management team
· Cash handling experience necessary
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive
· Experience with a Library Management System (LMS) and Point of Sale (POS) software an asset

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

· 2 years in a management position in a fast-food, restaurant, retail or similar environment

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

· College Diploma in Business or related field

Responsibilities

· Leading and managing a dedicated team of employees by promoting a positive work environment
· Providing an exceptional customer experience, including addressing any customer inquiries and/or issues promptly
· Handling cash and generating daily and weekly reports
· Assisting with creating staff schedules and adjusting film schedules
· Assisting with managing digital film including ingesting movies, creating playlists etc.
· Assisting with inventory management
· Dealing with any technical difficulties that may arise
