Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. The successful candidate will assist in supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and coordination.
Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to company standards.
Support food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.
Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Manage customer relations, addressing concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Assist in training new staff members, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Oversee cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including kitchen areas and dining spaces.
Support in inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies as needed.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Excellent team management and leadership abilities to motivate staff effectively.
Good understanding of food production processes and kitchen operations.
Experience with serving customers in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating hospitality excellence.
Familiarity with culinary practices, including food presentation and quality control.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with a professional demeanour suitable for a customer-facing role. Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
