Job Description Provide comprehensive financial market solutions to institutional clients, included but not limited to fixed income, derivatives, FX, money markets and structured solutions as a service. Manage and execute flows of fixed income instruments (primary issuance and secondary markets) and derivatives. Assist Head, GM-IS to oversee the bank and non-bank financial institutions, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds and government-linked companies/ sovereign-owned entities within Malaysia. Assist Head, GM-IS to develop and implement business strategy, targeting key institutional prospects in the public and private sector. Use account planning process to deepen relationship with clients and increase share of wallet. Work with other desks within Global Markets as well as other divisions within OCBC to ensure smooth trade executions and settlements. Provide daily and/or periodic market updates to clients. Assist Head, GM-IS in working with GIB bond origination team to pitch for mandates. Assist Head, GM-IS in managing the primary corporate bond issuance and/or syndications. Consistently engaging investors, and to lead the fixed income sales team in providing the information of primary corporate bonds to the potential investors, as well as feedback from the investors of the same corporate bonds back to the bond syndication team.
