Description

J&S Accessories is the UK’s #1 retailer of motorcycle clothing and accessories, and we are growing! We have 29 stores nationwide and are recruiting an experienced Assistant Manager for our busy store in Leeds.
You will work alongside the Store Manager to oversee the store, dealing with all aspects of the day to day functions of the store. You will have a hands-on approach and lead from the front, accepting only the highest standards.
You will be a key-holder and will act as Duty Manager when the Store Manager is not present. As well as personally delivering exceptional customer service, your duties will include opening and closing the store, ordering, receiving and booking in stock from suppliers and our warehouse. You will also be expected to help the Store Manager with required administration tasks and assist in developing the team.
We want to hear from people who are passionate about inspiring and leading a retail team in delivering customer service at a level they will not experience elsewhere.
We work a 5-day week. Hours of work are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm Saturday, and 10:30am to 4pm Sunday. Bank holidays are 10am to 5pm, and we are closed New Years Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
A competitive salary package is on offer which includes a strong basic plus guaranteed commission (you will receive a percentage of the stores net sales on a monthly basis) and an end of year store performance achievement bonus, 29 days holiday per year and a company pension scheme.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a career minded person who wants to join a successful, growing business which cares about it’s people.
Please include a cover letter with your application to tell us why you feel you are the right person for this role.
