Job details •Proposed designation : Assistant Manager •Role type : Individual contributor / Reviewer •Reporting to : Manager / Associate Director •Geo to be supported : Global Roles & responsibilities Delivering Client Engagements: •Leading and delivering end-to-end infrastructure modeling projects •Driving and implementing the design and structuring the outputs (financial models) and its delivery •Perform lifecycle analysis and forecasting, feasibility analysis, business case and market analysis Business Development: •Securing additional work for the current engagement or for related opportunities •Supporting KPMG onshore teams on business development initiatives, including preparation of proposals and expressions of interest Actively building and managing the relationships and interface with Global KPMG Infrastructure teams and other deal advisory professionals Practice Development: •Directing, managing, and mentoring junior team members on engagements •Train and mentor junior staff and contribute to the overall skills enhancement and experience of the team •Recruiting, managing, and contributing to the development of junior staff •Managing modelling risks and ensuring KPMG's quality and risk management procedures are completed to the appropriate standard •Pro-actively keeping up to date in your field of profession on a global level •Contributing to thought leadership and knowledge management to support practice development Educational qualifications •MBA / PGDBM from a leading Indian/International educational institution •Professional certifications like CFA/CA would be an advantage Prior experience •Relevant experience (4-8 years) gained in either Corporate roles, Debt Syndication, Fund-raising, Project Finance, regulatory finance, PPP, Infra SPV’s or similar deal experience in the relevant sector/ propositions (as applicable) Mandatory  technical & functional skills •Have Mentored, Coached, Appraised Junior team members •Develop and review complex infrastructure financial models including PPP/PFI, project finance and regulatory finance models •Be skilled in financial modelling and financial analysis •Have prior experience into project financing, regulatory finance, debt syndication, bond financing, infrastructure deal advisory •Have prepared infrastructure models from scratch and/or have significant experience into model audits/reviews •Have knowledge of financing structures, particularly debt and equity finance and other types of project-based financing •Have experience of PPP/PFI transactions or exposure of working on one or more infrastructure sector/sub sectors like Power, Transport, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Property/Estates or Utilities, etc •Have an ability to interpret and present outputs from financial models to support the commercial advice to onshore/client •Have good working knowledge of accounting and financial statements •Financial analysis and interpretation, in particular DCF methods (NPV and IRR) •Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) •Have creativity in pictorial representation of data, preparing decks for client presentations •Having familiarity with data analysis tools like Python/R/Alteryx and visualization tools like Power BI/Qliksense/Tableau would be an advantage Key behavioral attributes/requirements •Have ability to deal with ambiguity and to put in place frameworks and structure •Have commercial awareness •Have strong analytical skills and strong written, communication and presentation skills  
Responsibilities
