ASSISTANT MANAGER

The Assistant Store Manager is a crucial member of our KENT leadership team. This role provides the store manager supporting overseeing store operations, focusing on achieving financial objectives, managing team performance, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment through employee engagement and store events. Additionally, the assistant manager will also help oversee the management of our back-end warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and the delivery fleet.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years management experience in the commercial or industrial space
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to leverage technology for project management, analysis and solving problems (including Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Safety mindset
  • Ability to sell technical products
  • Undergraduate Degree is an asset
Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales by engaging with your sales team and customers directly to identify commercial sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team and sales to drive growth
  • Engage and motivates team members with energy/optimism, through company vision and effectively promote leadership at all levels
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results and implement business improvements
  • Assist the Store Manager with delivering financial reports
