[What the role is] Assistant Manager, Land Management & Operation Join our dynamic team at the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and play a vital role in managing Singapore's land resources. As an Assistant Manager in Land Management & Operations, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring optimal land utilisation whilst maintaining high standards of public service delivery. [What you will be working on] In this role, you will manage and oversee land under SLA's stewardship through diverse and engaging responsibilities. You'll handle public enquiries and feedback regarding land maintenance matters, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. Your work will involve consulting and coordinating with various government agencies on land use proposals, requiring strong stakeholder management skills. You'll be responsible for issuing Temporary Occupation Licences for vacant land use and ensuring licensees comply with their terms and conditions through regular liaison and monitoring. Planning and conducting site inspections will be a key part of your duties, helping to maintain proper land standards and prevent unauthorised usage. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you'll work closely with government agencies, contractors, and service providers to address municipal issues efficiently. You'll also handle administrative aspects including land and maintenance policies, financial transactions, and maintaining accurate land records and databases. Additionally, you'll have opportunities to drive process improvements through innovative thinking and creative solutions.
