Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and manage logistics, packing, sorting, palletizing, storage, and dispatch operations.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Projects, and Customers to ensure timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Optimize manpower, equipment, vehicle utilization, routes, and transportation costs.
• Ensure availability of packing materials, consumables, MHE, and equipment to avoid operational downtime.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the logistics team while maintaining accountability and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, housekeeping, and operational controls.
• Manage transporters, PODs, service-provider bills, and logistics documentation.
• Monitor logistics KPIs, MIS, and operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and implement Lean initiatives to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Ensure safe and compliant logistics operations with a strong Zero Incident culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in Logistics, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Any Graduate / Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in Furniture or Manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of packing, warehouse, dispatch, transportation, and fleet management.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience in SAP / Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Experience with Fleet Management / Transport Management Software.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage pressure, multiple priorities, and cross-functional stakeholders.

·      Familiar with using Microsoft Office Suite tools, Tally, and SAP (ICA); Conversant in developing and executing cost-saving strategies across procurement and logistics
