Description
The main purpose of the position is to create coordinate & manage component quality specifications for New, Current and Past models with all relevant local Suppliers.   KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Manage quality specification documents Ensure Service Parts approval as per Parts Technical Drawings. Management of QPR’s raised by Export Affiliates and reporting on outstanding issues to ensure 100% good quality status. Manage NMP activities on Supplier Portal. Liaise with local suppliers to update their activities for parts preparations before new models’ launch date, including Supplier visits for Trial parts inspection. Ensure Supplier aligns to PPM Requirement & monitor monthly KPI’s. Conduct Process Kaizen activities with Component Suppliers. Create and update Quality SOP documents.   QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: NQF Level 5: (240 credits on level 8 framework) Logistics or Quality/Engineering related. Minimum 2 years working experience in automotive parts quality field Project Management experience advantageous Automotive industry experience would be an advantage Good communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written) PC Literacy (MS Office Packages) Excel, Word & PowerPoint MRP system application experience Driver’s Licence and ability to travel nationally (Essential).   COMPETENCIES Accurate information gathering and analysis.
