This is a full-time, salaried position.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Manager will assist the General Manager in overseeing any and all job functions that contribute to the successful operation of MacKenzie River Pizza and the VGK Catering Program. This position will have the opportunity to lead and support an exceptional team of unique individuals. The Assistant Manager will help coordinate all restaurant operations including customer service, employment development/relations, product development, and administrative requirements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years of experience managing a full-service dining environment, or equal experience in the restaurant industry is preferred
• Must possess exemplary leadership skills and be able to lead a team of 50+ employees
• Detailed and diverse food and beverage experience and knowledge preferred
• Must have a working knowledge of restaurant POS systems
• Must have experience with internet software, spreadsheet, and word processing software
• Restaurant financial (i.e., P&L) experience and knowledge is preferred
• Experience in catering/banquets, and/or experience working in proximity with a professional sports organization is preferred
