QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or business-related field. Candidates with professional HR certification will have a distinct advantage.
  • At least 6 years of HR generalist and operational management responsibilities in a manufacturing environment is preferred, and with at least 3 years of managerial experience leading a team of HR executives.
  • An individual with strong ethics to maintain confidentiality and manage employee data with discernment.
  • Excellent work experience and in-depth knowledge in HR operations management.
  • Familiarity with Singapore’s employment laws and regulafions are of paramount importance.
  • Mature and hands-on person who is proacfive, driven with posifive working and learning aftitude.
Responsibilities

BASIC JOB PURPOSE

This role will be based in 1 Shipyard Road Singapore 628128 and will report to Senior Manager, Human Resources.
Responsible for overall operational human resource functions and efficiency, including and not limited to payroll administration with a high level of accuracy, data integrity, compensation and benefits, employee relations, disciplinary, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, employee development and engagement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees the monthly payroll and overtime processing with a high level of accuracy, ensuring employee data integrity and statutory requirements compliance.
  • Review, implement and enforce HR policies in accordance with Singapore employment laws. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Partake in HR risk management, producfivity, safety and women empowerment inifiafives.
  • Responsible for the performance management exercise, and providing guidance to business leaders, department heads and employees.
  • Maintain close collaborafion with internal stakeholders to understand each business and partner closely to deliver business goals.
  • Responsible for disciplinary and grievance handling, and maintain proper documentafion for follow-up.
  • Contribute acfively towards operafions efficiency and data organisafion for improved standardizafion and consistency in applicafions.
  • Establish a framework for HR database to support accurate reporfing and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  • Deliver quality talent acquisifion output, review job structure, review salary proposals and ensure fimely fulfilment of job openings.
  • Lead and ensure fimely complefion of payroll and eLeave systems transifion project.
  • Adhere to established quality, environmental protecfion, health and safety policies and procedures.
    Authorized to stop work and report any unsafe acts or condifions and ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety regulafions and procedures.
