About the Role We are seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to join our Risk Advisory Services (RAS) team in Brisbane. In this client-facing role, you will lead the delivery of contract performance audit and assurance engagements across major infrastructure and service delivery arrangements. You will take ownership of engagements, work closely with senior stakeholders, and support the development of team members. Key responsibilities Lead and deliver contract performance audit and assurance engagements Manage end-to-end delivery, including planning, scoping, execution and reporting Interpret contractual arrangements and assess performance, compliance and financial outcomes Oversee fieldwork and provide guidance to junior team members Build strong client relationships and communicate insights to senior stakeholders Support continuous improvement of methodologies and contribute to practice growth About you Experience in contract performance audit or related assurance work within professional services or industry Strong skills in risk and control identification, developing audit scopes / statements of work and work paper development and execution Experience leading engagements or workstreams and delivering high-quality outcomes Strong analytical and report writing capability, with the ability to communicate clearly to senior stakeholders Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret contractual arrangements in a practical way Tertiary qualification in accounting, law or business; professional certifications (CA, CPA, CIA) are desirable but not essential Why BDO?
