[What the role is] The successful candidate will be a member of the planning and operation team working with internal stakeholders (e.g., departments within the organization) and external stakeholders (e.g., telecommunication licensees) to ensure the preparedness and readiness of Singapore’s digital and info-communication networks and services in the Infocomm and Media sector. [What you will be working on] Assist to formulate and implement policies/strategies to ensure and enhance the preparedness and readiness of the Infocomm and Media sector. Periodically review IMDA and our sector crisis response plans and Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) to ensure business continuity. Perform impact analysis, prepare assessment and propose recommendations based on security frameworks. Work with other external stakeholders (e.g., other government agencies) and represent IMDA at inter-agency platforms related to the preparedness and readiness of the Infocomm and Media sector. Plan, conduct and participate in exercises (e.g., table-top, crisis comms, disaster recovery) to ensure the preparedness and readiness of the Infocomm and Media sector. Plan, coordinate and run joint operations with internal and external organisations to prepare for/respond to major/key events and crisis situations (e.g., Election, COVID-19 operations). [What we are looking for] Background in Computer Science, Engineering and Political Science. Other disciplines may be considered with relevant experience. Only Singaporean may apply Preferably with at least 2-3 years’ experience in info-communication and media field. Prior experience or relevant certification (e.g., CBCI, CBCM, CBCP) in relation to Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and/or Joint Operations will be advantage. Proactive attitude, driven and an inquisitive mind to learn and understand the diverse business areas for Infocomm and Media sector. A good collaborator with the ability to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical, writing and communication skills. This position will commensurate with experience.
