[What the role is] As Assistant Manager / Manager (Procurement) of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA), you will support Assistant Director (Procurement) in the management of the procurement function. You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that will require you to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities concurrently. [What you will be working on] You will play a key role in the Procurement team in the CDA. Your key responsibilities include the following: • Execute CDA’s procurement and contract management frameworks, processes, approving authorities and templates that dovetail with the Procurement Government Instruction Manuals as well as the Ministry of Finance’s (MOF) overall Whole of Government frameworks and processes. • Work with CDA Divisions to understand their requirements, review specifications, formulate procurement approaches and strategies for the purchases. • Work with CDA Divisions to conduct market research and engage industries to understand supplier landscape and market supply conditions. • Conduct procurement processes of sourcing, tendering, evaluation and contract management in accordance with Government procurement policies and guidelines and adhere to the principles of ensuring transparency, fairness and value for money. • Guide CDA Divisions in the contract management process. • Innovate and add value to the procurement process.
