The National Arts Council seeks an Assistant Manager / Manager to join its Visual Arts Division, a dynamic team driving efficient resource management and grant administration through robust financial planning, procurement governance, and operational excellence.
We champion the growth and development of Singapore’s Visual Arts sector, which encompasses a rich spectrum of artistic expressions and interactions across multiple players - from individual artists and curators to cultural institutions and organisations, both non-profit and commercial. Through comprehensive grant schemes, we support the creation and presentation of exhibitions, strengthen capability development for visual arts practitioners and organisations, and enhance market and audience development and research. Our division spearheads the annual Singapore Art Week, the region’s pinnacle visual arts festival, and advocates for public art and best practices through the Public Art Trust. Through our collaboration with this diverse and vibrant visual arts ecosystem, we strive to increase public engagement and appreciation for the visual arts.
