About The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to help run Mare Street Market; a Bar, Restaurant and Deli in the heart of Hackney.
A passion for wine, food and cocktails is a must. Valuing the ‘Customer Experience’ is equally important.
About The Role
The Assistant Manager will assist the General Manager in the overall running of business operations.
We are looking for someone who has experience in managing food service, drink preparation and promoting and overseeing excellent customer service.
Mare St Market is a large-scale venue of up to 600 covers. Managing the ambience, customer satisfaction and being adept at reacting to issues is really important to our success.
Office duties include ordering, stock control procedures, rota building to target, compliance and marketing.
Service responsibilities include running services, managing both Back Of House and Front Of House teams, and responding to and resolving issues.
This is an exceptional role for those in hospitality who want to develop their experience amongst the vibrant buzz of Mare Street Market.
