QUALIFICATIONS:

• Holding Any Bachelor’s Degree with insurance qualification from recognized Insurance Institutes.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of underwriting and marketing UAE Marine Cargo segment.
• Strong relationship with the UAE Insurance market, specifically on Marine Cargo line

· In-depth knowledge of marine cargo insurance principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Strong communication and negotiating skills.

• Build and develop a profitable Marine Cargo portfolio.

· Implement underwriting strategies and guidelines tailored to the marine cargo insurance market.

• Collaborate and work closely with Insurance and Reinsurance brokerage partners through frequent visits.

· Monitor market trends and regulatory changes impacting marine cargo insurance to advise underwriting practices.

• Ensure high conversion ratio on marine cargo enquiries.
• Maintain profitability of the Cargo segment.
