Position: Assistant Manager

Reports To: Restaurant Manager
Starting Salary: $52,000
Job Summary:
As an Assistant Manager at McDonalds, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations, delivery excellent customer service, and supporting the development of crew members. You will assist the General Manager in managing day-to-day operations, leading a team, and driving key business results, including guest experience, profitability, and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing crew and shift managers.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Lead by example, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure top-tier customer service by coaching and supporting team members.
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues effectively.
  • Monitor speed of service and restaurant cleanliness.

Operations & Business Performance

  • Assist in inventory management, ordering, and waste control.
  • Ensure food safety and health regulations are met.
  • Monitor and analyze key business metrics (sales, labor, costs) to optimize efficiency.

Cash & Asset Management

  • Assist in daily cash handling, deposits, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain security protocols to prevent loss and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high energy setting.
