Position: Assistant Manager
Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations and strategic growth of MeatHead Inc. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, requiring strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operational Support: Assisting the Store Manager in the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of MeatHead Inc.
  • Inventory Management: Participating in the ordering process to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Scheduling: Collaborating on the creation and management of employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Production Oversight: Assisting in all aspects of production, maintaining quality standards and ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Planning and Strategy: Contributing to the development and implementation of operational plans and strategies.
  • Team Leadership and Training: Assisting in the training and development of team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Business Growth Initiatives: Actively participating in brainstorming and implementing ideas for business growth and improvement.
  • Physical Requirements: Regularly lifting and moving heavy boxes, weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Flexibility: Working a schedule that includes 40+ hours per week, weekends, and holidays. Shifts will typically conclude no later than 7:00 PM, unless otherwise required by business needs.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Maintaining Standards: Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a retail or food service environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to lift heavy boxes weighing up to 100 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable means of transportation.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, and 40+ hours per week.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • A genuine interest in contributing to the growth and success of MeatHead Inc.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting Wage: $23 an hour, 35 to 40 hrs a week.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package to be discussed during the interview process.
