Responsibilities Lead the provision of budget planning and control services for Railway Segments of Hong Kong Transport Services Business Unit covering manpower, improvement work expenditure and IT equipment etc. Supervise a team of staff to coordinate the improvement works budgets raised by internal stakeholders Liaise with the project controllers and designers for budget cost estimation and programming of the project works Ensure project implementation not disrupting the railway/station operations and conduct joint team safety/surprise inspections on construction sites/contractors according to works and operational safety requirements Act as the focal point of contact on matters related to the disabled facilities within operating railway and to provide planning inputs for continuous improvement on safety, quality and customer service Requirements Degree in Transport Management or a related discipline A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in railway operations, of which 3 years should be at senior supervisory level Possession of Corporate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport would be an advantage Multi-disciplinary operational knowledge and experience and possess comprehensive knowledge of corporate budgeting and costing Strong analytical, planning and organising, communication and presentation skills are essential Applications You are invited to apply online via http://www.mtr.com.hk/mtr_job_en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
