Job Title - Assistant Manager | Overheads Function - Finance Work Level - WL1B Role Purpose: Manage planning, forecasting, and analysis of overhead expenses to ensure financial accuracy and cost optimization. Drive expense control initiatives, oversee cross-charges between entities and business units, and maintain strong stakeholder engagement for smooth financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Planning & Forecasting: Prepare annual and monthly overhead expense plans and forecasts aligned with business objectives. Expense Management: Monitor and drive overhead expenses to target, ensuring compliance with financial policies. Closing & Variance Analysis: Post closing journals and conduct monthly variance analysis to identify gaps and corrective actions. Cross-Charges: Manage cross-charges between entities and between National Management and Business Units accurately and timely. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure transparency and alignment on overhead management. Capex Oversight: Provide an overview and tracking of Corporate Office capital expenditure. Key Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related discipline (master’s preferred). Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and overhead management. Finance Fundamentals: Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost control, and financial reporting. Key Skills: Analytical & Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing financial transactions and reports. Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams. System Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
