ASSISTANT MANAGER

Hello all,
I am delighted and very excited to be recruiting for an Assistant Manager at Parkside Tavern, Merrion Street, Leeds. As part of Concept Taverns, this is one of twelve venues across Yorkshire with a fantastic offering of 4 pool tables, numerous TV’s for sport viewings, social and corporate private hire, 4 amazing terraces, great food & drink offerings and excellent 5* service.
We are looking for a driven, energetic, enthusiastic and infectious individual with a love for hospitality and a passion for quality food & drinks to join our team. We pride ourselves on a warm and friendly service so an upbeat personality is a must! If this is you we would love to hear from you!

THE RESPONSABILITIES

  • Able to assist the General Manager in all day-to-day responsibilities
  • Ensure high levels of organisation and cleanliness throughout
  • Assisting with orders, stock management and controls
  • Able to work with bookings and epos systems
  • Ensuring the team gives every guest a friendly welcome
  • Encourage the team to understand situational selling – making recommendations that are appropriate to the guest
  • Have a knowledge and passion for the large range of spirits and craft beers on offer
  • Have a drive for serving and presenting food and drink products perfectly
  • Provide direction, feedback and coaching to team members on shift to improve performance and delivery of excellent guest service
Responsibilities

We are looking for the right individual who has a love for hospitality, can deliver great guest service and work well with the team to create a friendly, warm, and welcoming environment. Being a lover of good beer, great service and a flare for putting on events is an added bonus!
You must be able to lead the team to ensure the smooth running of the business in the general manager’s absence, with the key aim of ensuring our guests revisit us and recommend us to their family and friends.
