Position: Assistant Manager, pricing Job Description: What You’ll Be Doing ● Interface and serve as liaison between Arrow suppliers and sales teams. As the primary point of contact between the Arrow sales team and the supplier, Product Managers also arrange meetings via webcast, phone, or in person in order to drive and increase our market share. The Product Manager is tasked to help monitor, track, and enhance our global design efforts. ● Engage in strategic conversations with sales leaders to strategize on opportunities while leveraging influential supplier relationships to develop sales strategies and goals for product group. ● Investigates price anomalies across all regions and works to maintain one price. ● Drives multi-location/global quotes and determines support for both franchised and non-franchised suppliers. ● Educates team on market conditions and leads execution and negotiations on strategic opportunities. ● Creates and drives strategic programs with local and global suppliers. ● Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team ● Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors ● Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager ● Typically does not spend more than 20% of time performing the work supervised ● Accountable for the results of medium-sized routine support or production operations teams ● Solves problems based on practice and precedent ● Trains team members and provides input to employee performance evaluations What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s Degree Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience. Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiations skills. Ability to build good relationship with customers, suppliers, and internally with cross function teams.
