Description
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the procurement cycle, from requirements and sourcing strategy to tendering, evaluation, negotiation, award, contract/PO issuance and delivery follow-up.
Review specifications, BOQs, drawings and scopes of work with technical teams, identifying opportunities for standardisation and cost optimisation.
Lead complex, high-value RFQs/RFPs, prepare commercial evaluations and award recommendations, and negotiate pricing and contractual terms.
Apply working knowledge of FIDIC contracts to assess commercial risks, variations, payment terms, delays, warranties and other contractual obligations.
Prequalify suppliers and contractors, monitor performance and address delivery, quality and commercial issues.
Partner with Engineering, Capital Projects, Facilities, Operations, Finance and Legal to align requirements, priorities and timelines.
Maintain compliant, audit-ready procurement records and report savings, spend, sourcing progress, cycle times and supplier performance.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement or a related discipline.
CIPS, CPSM or equivalent qualification preferred; FIDIC training or certification highly desirable.
Strong experience in engineering, construction, MEP, facilities or CAPEX procurement, including complex tenders and high-value projects.
Proven commercial negotiation, supplier management and cost-saving experience.
Practical knowledge of FIDIC and construction contract terms.
Experience in healthcare, large corporate or multi-site organisations preferred.
Technical document interpretation, sourcing, bid evaluation and contract management.
Commercial analysis, procurement governance and risk management.
