Assist in managing a project implementation team and contractors to ensure products are constructed according to required specifications, maintaining high-quality standards, adhering to the project timeline, and staying within budget.Design Development Review design/tender drawings and advise the PPD team on construction-related issues to ensure they are addressed prior to tender issuance and award. Construction Planning Assist in developing a comprehensive construction plan for the project, including logistics, construction methodology, and construction timelines, to ensure smooth implementation during the construction stage. Construction Management Review, comment, and recommend approval for contractors' mandatory submissions, such as the HSE plan, logistics plans, safe work method statements, QA/QC plan, and progress reports. Review and comment on the contractor's baseline programme submission to ensure compliance with the overall development programme. Monitor construction progress regularly to assess if the project is on track or delayed. Collaborate with contractors to develop and implement mitigation programmes to address project delays. Conduct daily site inspections to verify that work is carried out according to project requirements, including specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Manage all technical and site-related matters to ensure the smooth implementation of construction works. Implement proper quality control procedures on-site to ensure products meet EW's quality requirements. Enforce the implementation of EW's HSE requirements during construction to ensure zero incidents and injuries. Liaison with Key Stakeholders Build and maintain good rapport and actively engage with various stakeholders, such as authorities, consultants, contractors, and suppliers/vendors.
