Job Description The Assistant Manager, Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for managing and executing visa, work permit, social insurance, and regulatory compliance processes for employees across 8 countries in the MENA region. This role will act as a key liaison between the organization and government authorities, immigration offices, and external service providers, ensuring full compliance with local labour and immigration regulations. The role requires strong operational expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to support both blue-collar and white-collar employee populations in a multi-country environment. Visas, Work Permits & Immigration Manage and execute all visa, work permit, residency, and immigration-related processes for employees across assigned MENA countries Coordinate with government authorities, embassies, and immigration offices to ensure timely processing and approvals Maintain accurate tracking of visa statuses, renewals, and expirations Ensure compliance with country-specific immigration laws and requirements Social Insurance & Statutory Compliance Manage social insurance, pension, and statutory benefit registrations, contributions, and deregistrations Coordinate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions Stay updated on regulatory changes and proactively implement required updates Regulatory & Government Liaison Act as the primary point of contact with labor offices, immigration departments, and other government entities Support company registrations, renewals, and official documentation as required Ensure all employee records and submissions meet local regulatory standards Employee & Stakeholder Support Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on visa, work permit, and social insurance matters Collaborate closely with HR, payroll, legal, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of processes Support onboarding and offboarding activities related to government and regulatory requirements Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records, trackers, and documentation for audits and internal reviews Prepare regular reports on visa status, compliance, and regulatory metrics Support internal and external audits related to immigration and social insurance Qualifications 5–8 years of experience in a PRO, government relations, or people operations role Hands-on experience managing visas, work permits, and social insurance within the MENA region Strong knowledge of local labor laws, immigration regulations, and government procedures Experience supporting both blue-collar and white-collar employees Proven experience dealing directly with government authorities and external service providers We are looking for a UAE national with a family book.
