Description
Job Responsibilities * Implement and maintain certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, SEDEX/SMETA, FSC, and SA 8000.  * Monitor raw materials for compliance with specifications (rubber, PVC, fibre, yarn, paints, chemicals, etc.).  * Oversee in-process inspections and final inspections; prepare final inspection reports and update the SAP system.  * Ensure process quality and product quality parameters — color consistency, pile height, density, and pattern accuracy.  * Handle customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).  * Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).  * Conduct internal audits and support external audits.  * Ensure compliance with export standards, especially for EU/US markets.  * Supervise QA Executives, Supervisors, and Inspectors.  * Maintain quality documentation and reports.  * Coordinate and conduct external testing by 3rd party laboratories.  * Manage samples — retention, shipments, and customer-approved samples.  * Conduct quality-related training for Executives, Supervisors, and Operators.  * Conduct 3rd party shipment inspections arranged by customers.    Candidate Profile   * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Agriculture, NDT, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or Industrial Engineering.  * 3–5 years of QA experience in PVC, Rubber, and Coir carpet manufacturing.  * Knowledge of quality standards for Rubber, PVC, and Coir.  * Familiarity with tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Root Cause Analysis (Fishbone, 5 Whys).  * Understanding of Management System Certifications.  * Good leadership and reporting skills.
