We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to ensure adherence to all customer quality procedures from the receipt of fabric rolls through to the assembly and dispatch of completed garments in order to facilitate non-rejection of garments to customers KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure buyer requirements are fulfilled according to the given standards on receipt of fabric by conducting an inspection process for same. Ensure adherence to the standard process pertaining to laying fabric, cutting fabric etc. whilst also, educating team. Maintain a quality assurance system and ensure implementation and adherence of same by using TOP (Top of Production), FML (First Middle Last)/ Measles chart/ Defect card system/ Green card system across the organization and forward relevant documents to relevant personnel when needed Monitor final inspection of goods prior to shipment and solve issues such as measurement issues, construction issues when required and guide team on buyer requirements to ensure an efficient operation whilst ensuring all garments leaving the factory meet customer quality requirements. Guide relevant personnel in order to obtain Customer Certified Auditor qualification and conduct training programs for employees when required. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree in Textiles or relevant Qualification Knowledge in knit and woven fabric 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience Good Communication skills
Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager will ensure adherence to customer quality procedures from fabric receipt to garment dispatch. They will also guide the team in maintaining quality assurance systems and resolving any issues prior to shipment.
