Job Responsibilities * Involve in product and process improvements * Design and develop new products as requested by marketing/Head of R&D in the lab and implement in the plant. * New product introduction (NPI) which includes development/modification   of formulation, product development according to the customized requirements, provide specifications to marketing, accounts and production departments * Cost reduction initiatives for the existing product based on the requirement * Existing product/process improvements requested by production/GM/MD/FM in forums.  * Evaluation of new chemicals received by the company Provide feedback and implement where possible to improve the existing processes  * Ensure new product developed meet Legal & Regulatory requirements in all markets served * Work closely with staff from Marketing, Production, and Engineering departments as well as from other disciplines for cross functional team based projects * Troubleshoot product, process, and quality-related issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in coordination with cross-functional teams. * Ensure 100% product compliance with all applicable quality, Legal, Regulatory, and customer requirements across all markets served, including relevant international standards. Person’s Profile  * Sri Lankan willing to reside in Thailand with R&D Experience * Bachelor degree in Chemistry /Polymer /Rubber Technology  from a recognized University * MSc in (Polymer Science and Technology)/ relevant Postgraduate qualification * Minimum 6 years’ experience in similar working environment Glove Industry (R&D/ Process Control)  * Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills * Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong results orientation   If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this challenging role, please apply via email to jobs@dplgroup.com indicating the position applied for on the subject line of the email.
