Job Purpose: * Prepare regulatory reports for Mashreq UAE and assist in the preparation of reports for Mashreq subsidiaries and Islamic windows. * Responsible for the preparation of Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) and Pillar III reporting template. * Ensure accuracy and compliance of all reports with the guidelines issued by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). * Adhere to submission timelines by delivering reports on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly basis, as required by the Central Bank. * Collaborate with internal departments to resolve data discrepancies and ensure the integrity of reported information. * Coordinate with Technology teams to drive automation initiatives for regulatory reporting across Mashreq UAE, Islamic windows, and subsidiaries. Key Result Areas: * Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports for Mashreq subsidiaries and UAE operations in compliance with Central Bank guidelines and timelines. * Address data issues with relevant departments to ensure reporting accuracy and monitor regulatory changes and update reporting processes accordingly. * Drive automation and process improvements in regulatory reporting in partnership with Technology. * Conduct compliance assessments and support audits through proper documentation and timely responses. Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships:   * The role involves adhering to established SOPs for report preparation, submission, and audit requirements, while coordinating with Technology, and the Operations and Finance departments of respective countries.   Problem Solving:   * Must navigate challenges arising from multiple interdependencies, particularly with Technology and Operations teams. * Required to perform effectively under tight deadlines and operational pressures in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Proficient in data validation, reconciliation, and analysis. Decision Making Authority & Responsibility: * Responsible for preparation and timely submission of regulatory reports related to Mashreq UAE & Mashreq Subsidiaries. * Clear and effective communication of complex regulatory concepts and excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities. * Strong collaboration skills with ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and proficient in data validation, reconciliation, and analysis. * Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: * CA / ACCA with 2 to 3 years post qualification experience or MBA Finance / Masters in Accounting / Finance with 4 to 5 year experience. Should be working in the finance function of a bank. * Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail with Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
