We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. EXPERIENCE

  • ServSafe certification highly preferred
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or as an Assistant Manager within a quick service or fine dining environment.
  • Strong background in food service management, including food handling, cooking, and kitchen experience.
  • Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a positive work culture.
  • Experience with budgeting, inventory control, and cash handling procedures.
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in training & development of staff members is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences. Responsibilities
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise staff, including training and development of team members in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant policies.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Utilize POS systems (DBS Revel) for cash handling and transaction management.
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in budgeting processes and assist in achieving financial goals through effective cost management.
  • Conduct interviews for new staff members and assist in the onboarding process.
  • Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to maintain quality food production and presentation.
