Sports Direct Malaysia currently operates a total of 40 retail stores domestically and manages a proprietary SportsDirect.com e-commerce site for domestic and regional fulfillment. The stores are uniquely zoned by key sports categories which include; SD Football, SD Running, SD Training (fitness, cross training, gym equipment, weights, boxing, yoga), SD Rackets (badminton, tennis, squash), SD Swimming (pool, beach, water sports), SD Sports (basketball, rugby, extreme games, cycling, skates & indoor games), SD Lifestyle (Men, Women & Kids) & SD Outdoor (Hiking, trekking, camping & fishing). Job Description Maintain and upkeep weekly and monthly reports related to stock take, people movement, goods return, promotion discounts and usage, etc. Liaise and work closely with the IT team to ensure all system, software and electronic devices for the shops operations are well maintained in good working conditions. Ensure stocks in each shop are sufficient to support the daily sales activities. Solve operational issues along with the Area Managers and Operations Manager. Support during shop revamps or refit or renovations when necessary. Communicate with all levels within the department to ensure all SOPs are comply and smooth operations. Monitor customer feedbacks on shopping experiences and act accordingly. Liaise with operations team for employee engagement and performance maintenance and improvement. Introduce and maintain policies within the department to improve overall team performance. Liaise with Commercial and Warehouse teams to ensure products supply to each shop are as according to the sales trends and popularity. Liaise with Marketing team for promotions, partnership and discounts programs. Monitor retail employees HR related matters. Identify talents within the department for career growth and prepare for Company’s expansion plan. Any other ad-hoc project as requested by the Management from time to time. Qualifications Minimum 2-4 years of experience in retail operations or support functions. Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Well-verse with sports / apparel retails operations and management Creative problem-solving and logic decision making skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Able to work in fast-paced environment and able to manage stress effectively.
