Description
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain safety & security policies in line with company and local regulatory standards (fire, life-safety, guest & staff security, emergency preparedness). Conduct regular risk assessments and audits across hotel premises (guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, parking, access points). Lead and supervise the security & safety team — recruit, train, assign shifts, monitor performance, ensure compliance. Conduct safety & emergency drills (fire drills, evacuation, crisis response), maintain safety equipment & checklists. Maintain incident reporting, investigation and documentation (accidents, thefts, security breaches, lost property, guest/staff complaints). Liaise with local authorities (police, fire services, emergency services), coordinate during emergencies. Manage security operations for events, conferences, VIP visits — ensure proper access control, crowd management, guest safety. Oversee key-control procedures, patrol scheduling, guard deployment, CCTV / surveillance monitoring, fire safety systems. Ensure safety & security of guests, staff, assets and premises at all times. Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor degree (or equivalent) — additional diploma or certification in security / safety / risk management is a plus. Preferably 3–5 years (or more) of prior experience in hotel security / safety / risk-management roles (or similar environment). Prior experience with hotel/hospitality environment or large facility preferred. Knowledge of local safety & security regulations, fire-safety standards and risk-management protocols. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills (both Bengali and English). Ability to work under pressure, shift-wise including nights & weekends. Good analytical skills, report writing, documentation skills. Physically fit; good judgment, integrity and high sense of responsibility.
