THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST:

  • Have current experience working within a hospitality environment and be familiar with the day-to-day running of a busy restaurant floor to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests
  • Hold at least 2 years experience working in an Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager role in a similar style of restaurant to our own (see our website for more information about us)
  • Be supportive and able to work effectively as an Assistant Manager to our General Manager, running the floor during service and assisting with the ancillary aspects of managing a busy restaurant operation at all other times.
    Please note that this is not a trainee nor an office-based role. You will be hands on
    working alongside your team on the restaurant floor, directing, guiding and offering
    on the job training throughout. The successful candidate must already possess the

necessary skills, knowledge and experience required to carry out this role

  • Be able to effectively step up into the role of Manager to cover days off and annual leave etc
  • Understand our business, it’s ethos and it’s goals and be able to communicate these to the team and our customers
  • Have the ability to assist in the day-to-day management of the business e.g. ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, managing the team, ordering, controlling costs, completing necessary financial records, training and development
  • Be versatile, willing to help others, have the ability to work within a team and possess natural leadership skills
  • Be a confident manager with a track record of taking a hands on approach
  • Be passionate about driving food, wine and drink sales alongside delivering exceptional customer service
  • Have impeccable attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Have an exemplary timekeeping and attendance record
  • Be proactive, self motivated, able to think on your feet and work efficiently within a busy, fast paced environment
  • Be positive, motivated, and have a can-do attitude
  • Be trustworthy and honest
  • Be able to prioritise workloads
  • Be fully available across the days that the business operates and be available to work bank holidays, Valentines, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and right throughout December including Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
  • Be able to drive, have access to your own vehicle and live within a maximum half hour commute of our premises in Tickhill.
