SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic reading, writing, math skills, experience with computers
  • Loves to travel and has an interest in luggage, handbags, backpacks, leathergoods and/or willingness to learn and become a luggage expert
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn (who knew there were so many luggage brands)
  • Proven sales ability & prior experience in sales with a desire to succeed
  • Minimum 1-year work experience in Canada (Preferred)
  • Mature, likeable, teachable and reliable (great customer service starts with YOU!)
  • Has strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Punctual and Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to multi-task customer service, administrative & other duties
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Ability to ensure that customer loyalty is built and maintained by providing the ultimate shopping experience and by resolving most customer issues or complaints smoothly at the store level in a timely and positive manner
  • Upbeat, optimistic, a good listener and friendly
  • Speaks English fluently and able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. (Being multilingual is an asset, i.e. French, Italian, Korean, Chinese…)

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and determine their needs and wants
  • Providing exceptional customer service with a can-do attitude and friendly demeanour
  • Recommend merchandise based on individual requirements
  • Provide advice to clients regarding particular products or services
  • Explain the use and advantage of merchandise to customers
  • Advise customers on how to care of merchandise and warranty coverage
  • Quote prices and discounts as well as return policy, warranties and product availability dates
  • Answer customers’ queries and concerns in-store and over the phone email, virtual chat
  • Process customer transactions, including; sales, returns & exchanges. Use computer POS sales system and accepting payment through cash, credit card, gift cards
  • Support E-commerce department with preparing any in-store pick-ups at your location or orders going out
  • Assist in display of merchandise to present a professional and appealing look
  • Maintain a clean and customer-friendly environment in the store
  • Assist with marketing effort and promotional campaigns to help store sales
