REQUIREMENTS

Compulsory Requirement:

  • Minimum attained PLRD Security Supervisor (SS) Licence
  • Physically fit for long walking and standing duration
  • Good communication and writing skill
  • Able to work after office hours and weekends

Preferred Requirement:

  • Occupational First Aid + AED Certification
  • WSQ Respond to Fire Emergency in Buildings (Highly Recognised)
  • WSQ Implement Incident Management Process (Highly Recognised)
  • Experience in crowd control and managing large scale events
  • Experience in MCST asset deployment with understanding of BMSMA By-Law (Highly Recognised)

Security Risk Assessments – Assist in assessing security risk and vulnerabilities to recommend necessary actions or improvements to mitigate the security risk to a lower level.

  • Compliance – Ensure that all security practices comply with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies
Responsibilities

A member of the Security & Safety Team, working on office-hour basis. Their role is more focused on supporting the ground operations team and assist the management of the Security & Safety Team. The main responsibilities and accountabilities are:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations – Oversee the daily security operations, ensuring proper protocols are followed to protect team members, assets, and property.
Operational Readiness – Ensuring all equipment related to daily operations are in operational conditions. To ensure proper maintenance, replacement and documentation on the equipment movement.
Exercise Controller – To conduct exercises (Tabletop or Ground Deployment Exercise) with the ground forces, internal, or external stakeholders to ensure the existing Standard Operational Procedures are up to the existing security climate.
Staff Supervision – Manage security staff or security contractors by conducting audit, training, guidance and leaderships to ensure efficiency.
Event Coordinator – Managing security related events (i.e.: Meet & Greet, KOL Event, POH Event, etc) by developing security plan to address security concerns. Conduct site walk with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance on security concerns. Execute the security plan on the event day to ensure security deployment is deployed accordance to approved security plan.

  • Compliance – Ensure that all security practices comply with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.

Procurement – Request, issue, and manage the purchase order for security equipment and services to ensure procedure is accordance with the standard operating procedures.
