SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT, MARKETING AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS Assistant Manager / Senior Programme Officer / Programme Officer (25260387) Responsibilities: The appointee is expected to provide administrative support to the MSc in AI for Business of the Department in the following areas, including but not limited to: Providing administrative and executive support to the MSc in AI for Business programme, including recruitment, admissions, student/alumni records maintenance, course and examination scheduling, curriculum, quality assurance, marketing campaigns, and promotion; Overseeing the daily operation of the programme; Organising student/alumni events and co-curricular activities; Drafting papers/reports and providing secretarial and logistics support for committees; Liaising with internal and external units/parties; Assisting in various Department/School-wide functions and events; and Perform any other duties as assigned. Requirements: A recognised degree with at least five years of relevant experience in higher education institutions, with significant experience in programme administration; Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); Strong sense of ownership and be flexible with competing priorities and changes; Meticulousness, good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility; Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; and Willingness to work on weekends and outside office hours when required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and availability of funding. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the lower rank.
