Reporting to the GEM Discoverer unit under Office of Global Education and Mobility (OGEM), the incumbent is responsible to provide student support services and promote OGEM short-term overseas immersion programmes to NTU undergraduates.
We are seeking a resourceful and experienced candidate in student support administration, event management and marcom to join the Short-Term Programme team. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for student support services, executing programme publicity and outreach activities and events, creating compelling copy in social media, programme reporting, and data analysis. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organisational skills, a flair for effective spoken and written communication, and the ability to analyse and improve operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Student Services and Outreach Management
- Plan, organize, and execute student services, publicity and outreach and events, ensuring the alignment with the programme objectives and goals.
- Coordinate programme operations and management of students, vendors, suppliers, and on-site operations.
- Develop and manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Perform daily operations, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze post-event feedback for continuous improvement.
2) Publicity & Outreach Materials Development
- Craft communication messages for briefing and location marketing activities including social media, outreach, talks; retail marketing materials, websites, speeches etc.
- Develop content that aligns with the brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
- Collaborate with the team, internal stakeholders, or vendor to ensure consistency in messaging across platforms.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment.
3) Student Services Business Operations
- Perform student advisory and business operations, including administrative tasks, mobility portal management, and inquiries from students and university partners.
- Collect and analyze data to generate reports on event performance, attendee engagement, and ROI.
- Monitor key performance metrics, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance and procurement team on invoicing and purchase order.
- Perform process documentation and propose improvements to operational policies to improve efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 3 to 4 years of working experience, with 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing role, preferably in Institute of Higher Learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, organise and multitask.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Confident to do public speaking.
- Proficient in graphic design using Canva. Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premier is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or data analytics software is a plus.
