We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our current team in Bridgend with previous experience within retail management.
You will be working with a small team which consist of full and part time staff managing the store to maximise sales.
We are looking for the right candidate that has the willingness to learn and adapt to any challenges along the way. You must be friendly and approachable individual.

As an assistant manager, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting and managing your team to ensure they assist customers efficiently.
  • Managing sales and inventory levels.
  • Managing and motivating your team to improve the quality of their service, meet sales targets, increase sales and profit for the store.
  • Handling feedback, queries and complaints from customers.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a customer-focused environment.
  • Willingness to work shifts of a specified duration on weekends, evenings or during the Christmas and Easter seasons or bank holidays.
  • Ability to collaborate with different people and as a team
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team and drive results.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and the ability to change circumstances
  • Minimum of 1 year retail management experience.
