Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager/Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Production Unit in our OOH (Out-Of-Home) advertising and printing business. The role involves handling various aspects of production, procurement, maintenance, distribution, and sales within the printing unit. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in production management, procurement, and a keen understanding of OOH advertising processes.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production or operations management role, preferably in an OOH advertising, printing, or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the printing process, including machinery and equipment used in the production of OOH advertising materials.
  • Proficient in procurement, vendor management, and inventory control.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to production units.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and production management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Language: Proficiency in both English
  • Driving License: Must have a valid UAE driving license.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the OOH advertising industry, printing technologies, and equipment maintenance.

    Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per mont

Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:
  • Supervise and ensure the smooth functioning of the printing and production processes.
  • Coordinate daily production activities, ensuring timely completion of all tasks in line with deadlines.
  • Monitor the quality of printed materials and ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Implement efficient production practices to minimize waste and maximize output.
  • Printing Distribution:
  • Oversee the distribution and delivery of printed materials, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Work with the logistics team to plan and coordinate the delivery of printed materials to various advertising sites.
  • Ensure that all signage and printed material is prepared, packaged, and transported efficiently.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management:
  • Handle procurement of raw materials and equipment for the production unit.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for competitive pricing, quality materials, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any issues that may arise with suppliers or contractors.
  • Ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials without compromising on quality.
  • Maintenance & Equipment Management:
  • Ensure the upkeep and regular maintenance of all production machinery and equipment.
  • Monitor and resolve any technical issues in the production unit, working closely with the maintenance team.
  • Coordinate repair and servicing schedules for all production-related machinery.
  • Advertising Sales Support:
  • Support the sales team in identifying new advertising sales opportunities within the printing unit.
  • Assist in understanding client requirements and provide support in the production of OOH advertising materials.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of advertising materials.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination:
  • Supervise a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support where necessary.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure the team is meeting production targets and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Track and manage inventory levels of printing materials, ensuring that adequate stock is maintained at all times.
  • Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste and prevent overstocking or shortages.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on production, procurement, and distribution activities for senior management.
  • Keep detailed records of production schedules, procurement activities, and equipment maintenance logs.
