ASSISTANT MANAGER - SUPPLY CHAIN Job brief We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual with strong administrative, analytical and financial skills to join our team at HJS Condiments Limited, located at the Biyagama Export Processing Zone, as “Assistant Manager – Supply Chain”. HJS Condiments Limited is a subsidiary of Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations in line with the company’s stipulated guidelines and policies to fulfill internal/external stakeholders’ requirements efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities: Assist and coordinate with the business units in demand planning and import/export scheduling. Assist in managing and coordinating the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function in line with the Group’s strategic framework. Ensure timely delivery of business unit requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Liaise with and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and other related regulatory authorities i.e., Sri Lanka Customs, Import Control Department, Registrar of Pesticides, Ministry of Agriculture, Freight Forwarders, Clearing Agents and Banks etc. to ensure smooth functioning of the SCM operations. Negotiate with 3PL/4PL partners for efficient and cost-effective storage, delivery and monitoring. Drive “best practices” and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and performance across the supply chain function. Required Skills, Experience and Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/ business management or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University/ Institute. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant field. Ability to work independently with a high degree of responsibility in a competitive environment. Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset and team-oriented approach.
