Lead the preparation and review of tax returns for businesses and individuals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations Oversee tax compliance processes and provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax positions Manage and resolve complex tax issues through in-depth research, technical analysis, and application of relevant laws and regulations Lead tax audits, including planning, documentation, and direct liaison with external auditors and tax authorities Review and approve quarterly and annual tax reports, ensuring timely submission and high-quality deliverables Develop and implement tax policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the organization and advising senior stakeholders accordingly Manage relationships with external advisors, consultants, and regulatory bodies Lead, coach, and develop a team of tax professionals, ensuring performance management and capability building Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the tax function, including process optimization and automation Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus) Professional certification such as CPA,or equivalent is preferred 7–10 years of experience in tax, with strong exposure to corporate tax, VAT, and tax compliance Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, leading and developing teams Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively Experience in handling tax audits and dealing with tax authorities Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex tax matters Strong stakeholder management and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (Oracle) Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
