We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Terrace Goods. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring a high-quality experience for our guests. You will play a key part in our exciting growth plans as we embark on new projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A hands on attitude to problem solving, either technological or in person.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the establishment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food preparation.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Help develop training programs for new staff members to uphold company standards.
  • Knowledge of Food and beverage stock taking systems as well as showing innovation to develop and manage our own processes and procedures.
  • Assist in creation of new food and beverage menu’s and put your stamp on the business.
  • Perform general management tasks such as ordering, stock takes, scheduling and managing upkeep of booking and POS systems.
