We are currently hiring for a FOH Assistant Manager. Our beautiful pub, at the foot of the South Downs has a long-standing reputation for exceptional food, wine and superior service. We also have 8 boutique bedrooms. You should have an eye for detail and customer care. Hours can vary from early morning until last orders. We will provide great coaching and support, a good wage with a substantial service charge (from £7,000 pa) paid monthly and a wonderful team ethos that echoes a truly great customer experience.
If you can work calmly under pressure, understand the principles of delivering service to a high level and have a discerning approach to Front Of House, please do apply. We believe in recruiting and building the team from within, therefore, there is always the opportunity for in-house progression.
We are in a village location so own transport is a plus. There is a train station in the neighbouring village.
