With the recent addition of a new Head Chef, we’re looking for enthusiastic members of management who are food enthusiasts and eager to motivate our team to engage with our guests. From traditional Sunday roasts to seafood-focused specials, we offer something to tantalise every palate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Takes ownership of the venue with an entrepreneurial mindset in the absence of Senior Management (GM & Deputy GM)
  • Lead and inspire our front-of-house team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Set clear roles and responsibilities for the supervisors & staff to ensure the team are constantly being developed and that they feel well-supported and motivated.
  • Motivate the team to provide exceptional customer service, building relationships with our guests.
  • Manage cashing up and locking up procedures with confidence and accuracy.
  • Handle cellar management, including the care and handling of real ales.
  • Maintain a high standard of stock control, performing regular line checks.
  • Uphold our tradition of excellence in hospitality, contributing to menu planning and special events.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager (1 year minimum) or Supervisor (3 years minimum), preferably in a pub/bar setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • A people person with a genuine love for hospitality.
  • Positive thinker with the initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Great attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Confident in all aspects of food service.
  • Comfortable with cashing up and locking up responsibilities.
  • Experienced in cellar management, particularly with real ales.
  • Strong understanding of stock control and line checks.
  • Personal Licence Holder (desirable).
  • Right to work in the UK.
