The Wishing well restaurant and hotel are looking for a highly motivated and successful Assistant Manager who understands high volume restaurants and the importance of customer service as well as the budget hotel sector.
The key responsibilities are to achieve a high volume of sales, motivate and develop members of staff, maintain high quality standards and to be the market leader in the area.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record in achieving customer satisfaction, being passionate about food and service, delivering an excellent experience to every customer.

Staff Development:

  • You will be a great leader with a genuine passion for assisting with recruiting the right people & building a strong team alongside your general manager and focus on quality training and team development.
  • You will have strong communication and influencing skills.
  • You are able to coach your team to deliver excellent performance under the general managers guidance.

The Establishment:
The Wishingwell Restaurant and hotel is situated in the town of Selby. The restaurant is high volume and family orientated which seats 230 people. Above the restaurant is a 41 bed hotel and runs at 80-90% occupancy.

Our Requirements – Assistant Manager

  • An assistant manger who has had at least 1 years experience at this level
  • Passionate about delivering excellent service and customer satisfaction
  • Staff development and motivational skills.
  • A hands on approach to work alongside your team during busy periods
  • Back office experience including financial reporting and day to day admin.
  • Some hotel experience is a bonus as some jobs may need to be done on the hotel side
