Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a central role in the smooth day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable visit while supporting the General Manager in achieving commercial objectives. A key part of the role will involve working closely with our marketing partners to create engaging social media content that showcases our venue, events, and seasonal promotions. You will combine operational excellence with people leadership, bringing energy, organisation, and attention to detail to everything you do.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Acting as a brand ambassador, embodying our values and standards.
  • Leading service from the front while ensuring consistency and professionalism.
  • Recruiting, coaching, and developing the bar and restaurant team.
  • Overseeing budgets, rotas, stock management, and waste reduction.
  • Supporting the delivery of events and seasonal promotions.
  • Managing guest feedback with care and professionalism.
  • Maintaining compliance with licensing, health & safety, and industry regulations.
