Key Role Responsibilities:  Financial Spreading: Prepare accurate and detailed financial spreads from client financial statements (balance sheets, P&L statements, cash flow statements) to be used during the underwriting process by the Credit team.  Preliminary Credit Assessment: Analyze financial statements and provide initial insights to the Sales team on whether prospective clients meet basic creditworthiness criteria and are suitable for full credit evaluation.  Sales Support: Work closely with the Sales team to quickly assess potential deals and provide preliminary credit views to support business development activities.  Collaborate with Credit Team: Ensure all financial spreads are prepared in alignment with Credit team's underwriting standards and templates, subject to review by the respective Credit Manager as per current practice, to enable direct use in credit assessment without duplication of effort. Supporting Responsibilities:  Financial Analysis: Analyse financial statements, credit reports, and other financial data to assess creditworthiness and risk levels. Identify trends and provide actionable insights based on financial data to support Sales team decision-making.  MIS Management: Create, update, and maintain detailed spreadsheets for tracking potential client pipeline, financial spreading status, and preliminary assessment outcomes, etc. Key Deliverables:  Completed financial spreads ready for Credit team underwriting (no duplication of work). Preliminary credit assessment summaries for Sales team.  Quick turnaround on initial credit views to support sales pipeline velocity. Skills & Competencies:  Min 3 years of experience in a credit analysis or financial spreading role.  Strong understanding of financial analysis and financial statement spreading.  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulae, pivot tables, etc with a good understanding of its functionalities  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.  Experience in the banking industry and/or rating agencies preferred.  Familiarity with trade finance products.  Ability to work under time pressure and deliver quick turnaround on financial spreads to support sales pipeline. Education & Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.  MBA or professional certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) preferred.
