Tyres Direct UK are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team, ideally already working at required level although capable candidates with the relevant ability will be also be considered.
As the Assistant Manager you will work closely with both the Manager and branch staff to ensure our quality standards are met consistently, You must be able to produce quality work in a busy technical centre environment, showing flexibility according to the needs of the business.

This is a great role for an individual who is looking for either a new challenge or to grow within an established automotive business in the Bristol and North Somerset area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of service technicians, mechanics and an MOT Tester and ensure efficient operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or issues
- Assist the Branch Manager with their administration responsibilities
- Support service technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge in vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints or inquiries effectively
- Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and provide guidance as needed
- Proficient in maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Previous experience in a similar role with the industry
Duties:
- Support all aspects of branch operations, including staff management, customer service, and sales performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Operations Manager to achieve overall company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as record keeping, scheduling, and report
- Knowledge of the local market and industry trends.
